Contemporary Yale Nightlatch
Yale Y3 Nightlatch is a ergonomic design based on the original Yale P77 model. Ideal to quickly replace and update a Yale P77 without having to make any modifications to the door or frame.
The internal knob and snib button provides a convenient way to operate the lock from inside the property.
Quality lock specification
Yale Y3 Contemporary Nightlatch bolt is immediately engaged as soon as you close the door and can also be held back temporarily with the snib button, in case you need to leave the door open whilst bringing in the shopping.
The internal knob is used to operate the lock from the inside and can be deadlocked by the snib button for additional overnight security.
The external 5 pin rim cylinder lock is manufactured to a good specification, is tested for resistance to corrosion and a minimum of 100,000 usage cycles.

The Yale Y3 Nightlatch door locks is available in a range of colour finishes. The backset size is 60mm, the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole and is suitable for use on wooden doors up to 57mm thick.
Pack consists of three main components the internal nightlatch, strike plate and external rim cylinder to operate the lock from the outside.
If you are upgrading an existing Yale Y3 unit you should be able to use the holes that are already on the door.
